How to tell if your plastic surgeon is a certified

A surgeon with a certificate Cosmetics can not guarantee a perfect result, but there is nothing that can replace education and experience of a surgeon who devoted his life to improve yours.
Patients are asked to find a doctor who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (SPA), the Council recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to certify a surgeon in plastic surgery of the face and entire body. The certification by the ABPS is one of the brightest for a plastic surgeon, because it means the surgeon has formal training in plastic surgery residency program accredited and is required to maintain their certification through extensive training and certification course.

The American Board of Plastic Surgery (SPA) describes a surgeon for body and facial procedures. The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), which is specifically designed to provide public protection through quality control in medical education states the "ABPS is the only one of the 24 ABMS member boards providing certification in the entire field of plastic and reconstructive surgery from head to toe. "
If the surgeon is ABPS certified, shall:
* Degree, by usually pre-med or biology, but not mandatory.
MCAT * exam-six hours to get into medical school.
* Part of a physician, "MD" -4 years of Med School and bedrooms pass (two hours day/12 review) Part I and Part II (2 other test day/12 hour).
* After completing medical school, is considered as an MD, but may not engage in a residency program until they become a licensed physician.
* The residence "training at work "at least three years.
* Five years, seven are necessary for the American Board of Plastic Surgeons certified plastic surgery.
* LICENSE After a year of medical residency and pass tips Part III, then they are considered a primary care physician or GP. " A doctor header has not received training in surgery, no less plastic surgery.
* The candidate (Aka eligible COUNCIL) – has been completed necessary training in plastic surgery residency and has been in practice] [Private least two years .*
* Approved SURGICAL TRAINING plastic surgery and the surgeon has successfully completed numerous written tests and oral examinations in all the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery of the entire body.
* Certification Board certification step is not necessary for any physician to practice medicine, but it is important to find a good doctor and determine if you are trained to be a specialist as a surgeon surgeon.
To verify the certification status of a surgeon, contact these organizations: American Board of Plastic Surgery or the American Board of Medical Specialties. Check the status of your plastic surgeon is one of the fist steps, you must take when seeking cosmetic surgery.
